For my 14th birthday, my parents planned a scavenger hunt party for my friends and me. They gave each team a disposable camera and a list of 20 things to find.
We wandered around Canal Park taking photos with strangers, strangers’ pets, and wearing strangers’ hats and then met at Grandma’s for pizza when we were finished. While we ate and played arcade games, Dad ran to the 1-hour photo at Walgreens to develop the cameras.
We had a blast comparing the shots from each group. The best photos won prices and the rest were great for laughs.
Fast forward 10 years – wouldn’t that be a fun alternative to the traditional bachelorette party?
